Social networking platform Bluesky has begun rolling out a drafts feature, responding to one of the most frequent requests from its users. The update allows people to write, save, and revisit unfinished posts, a basic function already available on competing platforms such as X and Meta’s Threads.
Users can access drafts by opening the new post composer and tapping the “Drafts” option located in the top-right corner. The feature lets users prepare posts and come back to them later without losing their content.
The rollout comes as Bluesky recently shared its roadmap for the year ahead. The company said it plans to improve its algorithm-driven Discover feed, offer better recommendations on who to follow, and make the app feel more real-time. At the same time, Bluesky said it still needs to improve core features that users expect from a mainstream social network.
